Happy Chinese New Year!!

Summerhill are working on some new songs for a forthcomming EP. All the songs were written for the China Live Tour earlier this year. We are looking forward to release it in spring 2011.
Summerhill has composed the score music/soundtrack for the action movie ”Ud af Mørket” (Through Darknes) presented by Rebel Row Productions and written by Japanese / Danish award winning actor and martial artist David Sakurai.
The movie is produced by Daniel Edwards & David Sakurai.
The movie will premiere in Denmark this autumn.

In June/July of this year we went to China again. This time the tour took us to both Beijing, Shanghai and Zhenjiang.
It has been wonderful to visit the beautiful country again and most of all a pleasure to present our new songs for the always uplifting Chinese audience.
We had a bunch of different gigs. One night we played an outdoor concert in Zhenjiang with around 3000 people attending, and the following evening we found ourselves at LOGO BAR — a small crowded club in the French quarter in the heart of Shanghai.
Summerhill was also invited to entertain at The Danish Pavillion at The World Exhibition, Expo, Shanghai 2010
Thank you all for making this tour a reality.
Special thanks to Midi Festival, Martin Røen, Dj Yodai, Robe de Kappa (China), David Li, and DEACA.
Hi everyone!
Summerhill are home again after two lovely weeks in both China and Japan. It has been wonderfull to experience the two beautiful countries by playing gigs.
All in all we have played 8 very different gigs. Some of them were big like at the MIDI festival (China) and some of them were more intimate like at Mao Livehouse (China) & Live Gate (Japan). But all of the nights were certainly great one way or another!
During the time in Beijing, we also worked on a Chinese version of our hit single ‘Country Boy’ with local vocalist Kiki aka Milk from the band Milk@Coffee (Modern Sky Records). Actually Kiki joined us on the song at a concert at the Great Wall.
There are so many people to thank for making this tour reality, and you know without a doubt who you are!
Thanks to all the local bands we met both in China and Japan. You have been a really great inspiration to us!
So thank you all! We are already looking forward to visit you again…
Love from Summerhill
